A child plays “Food Rescue”

Hello Everyone,

I had to share this from a Food Rescue partner and volunteer, Todd Walter.  He refers to his wife Elise in this very brief story.  Very cool story!  Todd writes:

Real quick funny story: my two and half year old daughter Alaina is playing with Elise one day and they decided they wanted to play pretend.  Elise says: “what do you want to pretend?”  Alaina says “Let’s pretend Food Rescue”.  They went on to rescue bagels, pizza, and Alaina’s choice: carrots.  She must have picked it up from one of the many conversations we have had in our house.  Kids say the funniest things!
